I took this image from Titusville, around 12 miles accross the Indian River from the launch pad.
Time of this shot was around 02:29 on the 11th March 2008.
I was over the moon getting to see the shuttle launch, how lucky was I to be in the US at the same time as the second ever NIGHT launch..................only pity is that it did not launch the night before, as it was a clear and cloudless sky. (can't have everything)

Now that's just plain COOL!!! I have friends that live in Cocoa Beach. Actually my friend's wife works for NASA as a Marine Biologist. :)
